PRESENTATION
Sarah Bouhaddi, born 17 October 1986 in Cannes, is currently the Goalkeeper of the World’s Best Club Olympique Lyonnais and of the French National Team . She was crowned three times in a row THE WORLD’S BEST WOMAN GOALKEEPER by IFFHS in 2016, 2017 and 2018 !

She began her career at 8 with SC Mouans-Sartoux in 1994 before moving to progress to Mougins and Monaco in 2001. At 16, Sarah went to the National Center at Clairefontaine where she was appointed to be the starting goalkeeper of the France U19 National Team, playing the UEFA 2003 Championship. She won the title with two clean sheets in the semi final and final against Norway ! In 2005, she was selected again for the UEFA Championship and reached again the final, losing the title against Russia on penalties.
Sarah Bouhaddi made her senior international debut with France at 18 against Scotland in February 2004. In 2005, she joined Toulouse for one year before signing in Juvisy, where she played for three seasons in Ligue 1. In 2009, she signed a contract with Olympique Lyonnais, where she is always the number 1. In these ten years, Sarah won 10 Ligue 1 titles (from 2009/10 to 2018/19), 7 French Cups (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016,2017, 2019) and particularly 6 UEFA Champions Leagues (2010/11, 2011/12, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19) , being runner-up twice in 2009/10 and 2012/13 !! In this time, she was crowned the World’s best Woman Goalkeeper three times by IFFHS and was nominated in the IFFHS Woman Team of the Year 2017 and 2018.
At the UEFA Champions League final 2015/16, she led Olympique Lyon to the winning of the Cup, saving a penalty and scoring the last penalty to give the Champions League to her club !

With the French National team, Sarah has registered until now 148 international caps, winning the Cyprus Cup 2012 and 2014, also the SheBelievesCup 2017. She is the Goalkeeper of the French National Team since 2004 and participated at 10 games at the FIFA World Cups 2015 and 2019, also at 13 at the UEFA Euros 2005, 2009, 2013 and 2017. She represented also France at the Olympic Summer games in 2012 with a fourth place.
