First Award for Brazilian Jonas and Award number 4 in this category for Lionel Messi !
MESSI AND JONAS ON THE TOP WITH 34 GOALS.
After 2012, 2013 and 2017, Lionel Messi has won his fourth Award of The World’s Best Top Division Goal Scorer 2018 thanks to the 34 goals scored for FC Barcelona, but not alone because the Brazilian Gonçalves Oilveira Jonas scored the same number of goals (34) with Sport Lisboa e Benfica and so won also the Award with Messi.
Lionel Messi is the recordman of this category with 4 Trophies before Luis Suarez (3 Awards), Cristiano Ronaldo and Mario Jardel (2 Awards each).
For Jonas, it is the first award in his career. A great result to be at the first place with Lionel Messi who scored 392 goals in 428 matches in the Liga since 2004 for FC Barcelona. Amazing !
