PRESENTATION
Born in Recife on 4 April 1981, Leandson Dias da Silva made a career as professionnal striker in Brazil and Bahrain, where he won his only international Trophy, the IFFHS Award of THE WORLD’S BEST TOP GOAL SCORER 2008 !
Leandson began to play with CSA (2001) and Sao Paulo (2003/04) in Brazil. With Sao Paulo and his playmaker « Kaka », he scored 7 goals in 34 matches. He moved to Gremio and Criciuma (2005) where he scored 5 goals in 39 matches.
In 2005, he decided to go to Bahrain where he joined the Al Muharraq Club. He stayed there 5 years and scored 117 goals in 127 matches ! He won the Bahrain Championship titles 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009; the Bahrain Cup 2008, 2009 ; the Crown Prince Cup 2008, the Super Cup 2006 and was crowned Best goal Scorer in Bahrain. In 2008, he was also THE WORLD’S BEST TOP GOAL SCORER by IFFHS (for all international goals).
He moved then to Riffa Club in 2010, Manama, Hajer, Nautico, American-RN, Alecrim, Vila Nova, signing in 2019 at Al Hidd SCC.
